Roula Partheniou - Inventory at Contemporary Calgary

Inventory is a survey exhibition that recontextualizes a selection of works made by Roula Partheniou between 2010 and 2015. 
The exhibition opens at Contemporary Calgary on Thursday February 4 at 7pm and continues until March 13, 2016. Roula will be giving a talk at the Alberta College of Art on Friday February 5 at 2 PM.

Risa Horowitz, Imaging Saturn (Modeling Views)


Risa Horowitz is exhibiting a new installation at PLATFORM centre for photographic + digital arts in collaboration with Video Pool Media Art Centre in Winnipeg.  The mixed media work  examines Saturn's appearance during its orbit.  Imaging Saturn (Modeling Views) opens on Friday, January 29th at 7pm and will continue until Saturday, March 12th.  Risa will be giving an artist talk on Saturday, January 30th at 2pm.

Five MKG127 Artists in Exhibition at Open Studio

Bill Burns, Risa HorowitzGwen MacGregor, Monica Tap and Joy Walker are among the artists included in À la recherche (in search of practice-based research), an exhibition at Open Studio Gallery curated by Barbara Balfour. There is an opening reception Friday, January 8 from 6:30 -8:30 PM. The exhibition continues until February 6.
