This Friday January 27 from 7 - 11 PM, A Moon or a Button, a solo exhibition of work by Michael Dumontier opens at Plug In ICA in Winnipeg. The exhibition is curated by Micah Lexier who has also curated a companion exhibition at Plug In, Like Minded featuring works by more than 30 artists that share interests and sensibilities with Dumontier. Several MKG127 artists are included in this exhibition : Dave Dyment, Ken Nicol, Roula Partheniou, Joy Walker and Laurel Woodcock. Both exhibitions continue until March 25. Michael Dumontier's next exhibition at MKG127 is scheduled to open on March 17, 2012.

MKG127 Artists in Sediment at G Gallery
Bill Burns, Dave Dyment and Roula Partheniou all have work included in the exhibition, Sediment at G Gallery which opened on January 13 and continues until February 26. This is the second exhibition at G's new location, very near to MKG127.

MKG127 Artists at SCRAP METAL
Toronto collectors Samara Walbohm and Joe Shlesinger opened their new gallery, Scrap Metal, on December 9th with their first show Read All Over. The exhibition includes work by MKG127 artists Dave Dyment, Michael Dumontier and Laurel Woodcock as well as many others including General Idea, Douglas Coupland and Annette Messager. The exhibition continues until May 1st.

Jayce Salloum at the Mendel and at the Centre Culturel Canadien in Paris
Jayce Salloum: history of the present (selected works, 1985-2009) was presented at the Mendel Art Gallery in Saskatoon from September 30th until January 8th.
