Adam David Brown, Kristiina Lahde and Laurel Woodcock in 'Voices: artists on art'
Voices: artists on art curated by Yvonne Lammerich and Ian Carr-Harris opens at Artport Gallery at the Harbourfront Centre on September 23. Through video interviews, artists’ statements, artists’ projects and original documentation, “Voices: artists on art” builds on the 1967 exhibition “Sculpture ’67”, and explores how artists imagine their practice and their contribution to the culture in which they live.
Adam David Brown and Kristiina Lahde will have interviews featured in the exhibition, and artwork by Laurel Woodcock will be on display in the vitrines adjacent to the main gallery space.
There will be an opening reception on Thursday, September 28, 7–10pm.
The exhibition will continue until December 22, 2017.

Roula Partheniou and Dave Dyment in 'The Closer Together Things Are' at UWAG
The Closer Together Things Are, curated by Shannon Anderson and Jay Wilson opens at the University of Waterloo Art Gallery on September 14th, with a reception from 5 to 8pm.
Roula Partheniou’s project Twofold is included in the exhibition as well as a collaboration by Partheniou and Micah Lexier called Works, Works 1, Twice. A collaboration by Dave Dyment and Lexier is also included in the exhibition.
The exhibition will continue at UWAG until October 28, 2017, after which it will be travelling across Canada throughout 2018. The Closer Together Things Are can be seen at Owens Art Gallery in Sackville, NB from January 12 – February 21, 2018, at Saint Mary’s University Art Gallery in Halifax, NS, from April 7 – May 27, 2018 as well as at Southern Alberta Art Gallery in Lethbridge, AB, from June 29 – September 2, 2018.

Liss Platt at McMaster Museum of Art
Liss Platt : A Constant Decade at McMaster Museum of Art will run from 4 May - 19 August, 2017.
