Laurel Woodcock included in two group shows
The Queer Feeling of Tomorrow brings together work from 6 artists whose work deals with doubt, resilience and political agency. Included in this exhibition is Laurel Woodcock's untitled [a film by John Baxter (1946), a song by the Beatles (1969), an album by Nina Simone (1971), a novel by Tom Holt (1993)]. Curated by Adam Barbu, the exhibition opens on September 17 at 7pm and runs through December 13 at the Macdonald Stewart Art Centre in Guelph, ON.
Laurel is also part of A Putting Down of Roots: 40 Years of CV2 at Gallery 1C03 at The University of Winnipeg. The exhibition opens on September 17, with a reception from 4-6pm. The show closes on November 14.
