Bill Burns, David Harper in "Oh Canada" at MASS MoCA

MKG127 artists Bill Burns and David Harper are included in Oh Canada at MASS MoCA in North Adams, Massachusetts.
The exhibition which opened just last weekend is being called the largest survey of contemporary Canadian Art ever produced outside of Canada.
It has been receiving a lot of press including articles in Maclean's, the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star and CBC.
A comprehensive full-color 450-page catalogue by MIT Press will accompany the exhibition. 
The exhibition continues until April 1, 2013.
Burns also has a solo exhibition, Bird Radio opening June 1 at The Art Gallery of Grand Prairie. It continues until August 26.
Harper is included in the exhibition, Skin which opened May 19 at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. It continues until September 9.

Roula Partheniou at Convenience Gallery

Roula Partheniou's exhibition, five o'clock shadow at Convenience Gallery is a must see.
It transforms the gallery into a reduced and distorted mirror image of itself. A group of objects are arranged, copied, reversed, and reflected in various shades of gray.
Convenience Gallery is 24/7 window gallery located at 58 Lansdowne Avenue at Seaforth Avenue, one block North of Queen in Toronto.
The exhibition runs from May 21 to July 19.

Liss Platt wins 2012 Hamilton Arts Award and Exhibits at Rodman Hall

Congratulations to Liss Platt who is the 2012 City of Hamilton Visual Arts Award recipient in the established category. Liss also currently has an exhibition, You Can't Get There From Here at Rodman Hall in St. Catharines. The exhibition continues until September 16. There is a reception on May 24 from 7 - 9 PM.
