Hop Day is this Saturday beginning at 11 AM with a panel discussion at the Drake Hotel featuring Sky Glabush along side Dana Claxton and Yam Lau.

Gwen MacGregor in Artists' Walks Exhibition at New York's Dorsky Gallery
Gwen MacGregor is included in the exhibition Artists' Walks: The Persistence of Peripateticism at the Dorsky Gallery in Long Island City, New York. The exhibition which was curated by Earl Miller opens on September 8 and continues until November 17. Dave Dyment in The String and the Mirror
Dave Dyment is in a group exhibition at Lisa Cooley in New York City. The String and the Mirror is curated by Lawrence Kumpf and Justin Luke, and features conceptual soundworks by Alan Licht, Christof Migone, Rolf Julius, Ultra Red, Marin Rosenfeld, Akio Suzuki and others.

Liza Eurich Exhibition at Neutral Ground
Liza Eurich is part of a two person exhibition with Kevin Rodgers entitled Alignments at Neutral Ground in Regina. A week prior to the exhibition, the two participated in a production residency at the University of Regina. Along with the exhibition, Eurich and Rodgers created an artist multiple that will be distributed across the city and within the gallery. The exhibition opened on June 8th and runs until July 12th.

Instant Coffee’s new installation The Hero, the Villain, the Salesman, the Parent, a Sidekick and a Servant is opening tonight at Simon Fraser University's Teck Gallery, on the ground floor of the Harbour Centre in Vancouver. The installation will act as a stage for social interaction within a contemporary art context. The exhibition will be up May 11, 2013 until April 27, 2014.

A Biennale, A Film Festival And An Important Collection - Bill Burns
Bill Burns is presenting classic works from his Safety Gear for Small Animals series and his
recent Triage Tents at the Biennale International Saint Etienne in Saint Etienne,
France. The biennale takes place from March 14-31, 2013.
Burns presented his short film Dogs and Boats and Airplanes Children’s Choir Video Sessions at the Festival International DU FILM SUR L’ART in Montreal on Friday March 22, 2013.
The Dogs and Boats and Airplanes Children’s Choir Video
Sessions are vignettes of members of the Dogs and Boats and Airplanes
Children’s Choir. The choir has recently produced a high fidelity 33 RPM vinyl
LP and the 100 voice choir will be featured at the Junction Arts Festival in
Tasmania, Australia in September 2013.
The Getty Center in Los Angeles recently acquired Burns’ limited edition called Guard Tower Plans, Prison Cell Plans and the Songs of Guantanamo Bay. All proceeds from this edition benefit Art Metropole.

Dave Dyment in Volume: Hear Here at Blackwood Gallery
Dave Dyment has two works included in the exhibition Volume: Hear Here opening at the Blackwood Gallery at the University of Toronto Mississauga campus tonight from 5 - 8 PM. The exhibition also takes place at the Justina M. Barnicke Gallery at U of T's Toronto Campus with an opening there tomorrow from 7 - 9 PM. The exhibition is curated by Christof Migone and some of the other artists included are John Oswald, Ian Skedd, Marla Hlady, Rafael Lozano - Hammer, Sylvia Matas, David Merritt, Ryan Park and John Wynne.
