Joy Walker at Harbourfront Centre and Rodman Hall

Joy Walker is included in the exhibition Between the Lines which opened at Harbourfront Centre on Friday. The exhibition which was curated by Melanie Egan continues until December 29.
Joy's solo exhibition, Fade to Black opens at Rodman Hall on October 4 and continues until January 5.

MKG127 Exhibiting at Edition Chicago This Weekend

MKG127 is exhibiting at Edition Chicago, a new invitational fair taking place at the Chicago Artist Coalition at 217 North Carpenter  starting this Friday, September 20 until Sunday September 22. If you're in Chicago, please come by and say hello.

Five MKG127 Artists in Canadian Art Hop Auction This Thursday, Sky Glabush Panelist on Hop Day

Adam David Brown, Sky Glabush (pictured above), Kristiina Lahde, Roula Partheniou and Joy Walker have works in at the Canadian Art Hop Auction this Thursday at the Carlu.
Hop Day is this Saturday beginning at 11 AM with a panel discussion at the Drake Hotel featuring Sky Glabush along side Dana Claxton and Yam Lau.
The Dundas West tour begins at Cooper Cole (1161 Dundas St. W.) at 2:45 PM and includes a visit to Dean Drever's exhibition, B/W V.2 at MKG127

Gwen MacGregor in Artists' Walks Exhibition at New York's Dorsky Gallery

Gwen MacGregor is included in the exhibition Artists' Walks: The Persistence of Peripateticism at the Dorsky Gallery in Long Island City, New York. The exhibition which was curated by Earl Miller opens on September 8 and continues until November 17. Some of the other artists included in the exhibition are Marina Abramovic, Janet Cardiff & George Bures Miller, Hamish Fulton, Neil Goldberg, General Idea and Richard Long. Gwen is also exhibiting collaborative work with Sandra Rechico in the exhibition. Additionally, Gwen and Sandra will be presenting a performative work Map It Out on September 6, 7 & 8 in partnership with the Noguchi Museum and the Socrates Sculpture Park.

Bill Burns' Dogs and Boats and Airplanes Choir Performing in Australia

Bill BurnsDogs and Boats and Airplanes Childrens Choir is performing in Launceston, Tasmania in Australia today as part of the Junction Arts Festival. There will be two performances, one in the evening as well as a matinee.

Laurel Woodcock Included in the Exhibition, David Cronenberg: Transformation at MOCCA

Laurel Woodcock is among the artists commissioned to create new works for the exhibition, David Cronenberg: Transformation at the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art. The exhibition which opened last night was curated by David Liss the artistic director & curator at MOCCA, and Noah Cowan, the artistic director at TIFF Bell Lightbox and also includes work by Candice Breitz, James Coupe, Marcel Dzama, Jeremy Shaw and Jamie Shovlin. The exhibition continues until December 29.
